I absolutely loved this booklight and used it often for the past 5 or 6 months. Then, it suddenly stopped working. I replaced the bulb, tried batteries etc. but no dice. I'm past the point of returning the light, so I wanted to warn other buyers that this may be a great product, but don't be surprised if you get a lemon...

EDIT: The price for this one and the other one referenced herein are fluctuating, so you must check both before knowing which is the best deal at the time.
This review is for Zelco Itty Bitty Volume Two Booklight.
If you have ever used a book light, you know that they generally are not the best quality appliances to be found, so let's take that into consideration -- it applies to all of them. With that taken into consideration, this particular deal, at about only $25, is one of the best.
You may see also for sale on this site the Zelco "itty bitty" Book Light, Volume 2. That model number, 10030, is the SAME as this one, except this one, model 10050, comes with the AC adapter (which you would formerly have to buy separately if buying the 10030), PLUS is selling for about $10 LESS than 10030.
If you have no need for the AC adapter, and like to pay more for the same thing, the 10030 model may be a better choice for you...but if you are like me, and like to get a better deal and more for your money, the 10050 model seems to be the best choice if you like the volume 2 version.
I have used the volume 1 version of the Itty Bitty Booklight before, and I do not think it is quite as convenient as this one. The construction of the vol. 1 is not as sturdy as vol. 2, and is not quite as adjustable. The vol. 1 tends to droop after a while.
I have also tried the LED version, which claims that you never need to replace the bulbs (which would be nice), but I had to replace the entire light through Zelco a couple of times, because the bulbs did not last very long, and they are not replaceable.
The AC adapter is the thing that really makes this book light, in my opinion, as not all book lights come with that option. The reason it is the deal breaker is that while it is nice to be able to use a very portable book light for reading while traveling, that is not where I mostly use a book light, and probably is not where most people use them. It is far too inconvenient for me to use a light that I must always change the batteries for, when my book light usage is primarily when I'm at home in bed with a sleeping wife, and do not want to turn a 60 watt lamp on to read.
The bulbs you will have to replace occasionally, but I regularly use this light and only have to replace a bulb every 6 months or so. You can also get them through Amazon.
Zelco Booklight Replacement Bulbs, Set of 2
I'm not sure where another reviewer got only $2 per bulb. They are more like $3 each, but well worth it when considering book light options.

My husband and I eat out a lot and love to catch up on our reading when we eat out. A lot of places to eat have very dim lighting - making reading a book (or menu!) darn near impossible. This is a fantastic book light for reading. The neck extends far enough to spread the light over a wide area on the page. My husband and I both love these lights!

I've tried many book lights, and so far this is the best all round. I tried one with an LED bulb, because the regular bulbs don't seem to last too long (perhaps burn hotter when using the AC adapter?), but the light from the LED was not sufficient for comfortable reading. It's also nice that the light and battery units are separate: makes it easier to clip to the book. And this particular version comes with AC adapter (if description is accurate - watch out for "paperback" version, which does not include the adapter).

For me this is the perfect booklight to use at home... when my husband is sleeping and I still want to read a few more pages. No need to replace batteries constantly. Brightest light I've ever seen in a booklight. You only need to replace lightbulbs once in a while (for about $2.00!!!).
I've had mine for about 2 years now without any problems. I'm buying another one because the vacuum cleaner "ate" the cord!! :)
